Everything you need to set up your MNC profile the right way, so clients in your area actually find you.
Clients browse MNC on a map. If you don't have an address, you are literally invisible on it, like a shop with no front door. A complete profile with a real photo also makes clients three times more likely to reach out.
Tap the person icon in the top right corner of the app. That's your home base, everything lives here.
Upload a clear photo of yourself or your salon's logo. Think of this as your first impression, clients decide within seconds whether they feel comfortable reaching out. Make it warm, bright, and you.
This is how you get pinned on the map. Be precise, include suite numbers if you work in a salon. If you're mobile-only, enter your general service area. No address = no map pin = clients can't find you nearby.
A few sentences is perfect. Tell clients: how long you've been doing nails, what styles you love, and what makes your work different. Don't overthink it, write like you're texting a potential client. Something like: "10 years doing nails in Phoenix, specialty in nail art and gel extensions. My clients always feel like they left with something special."
Clients can call or text directly from your profile. No messaging platform, no app, just your number. Add it so they have a way to reach you even if they don't want to book online.
Once saved, your pin appears on the map for clients in your area. You're officially visible. Now let's get your portfolio working for you.
Clients on MNC aren't searching by name, they're browsing nail photos. Your photos are your first impression, your portfolio, and your advertisement all rolled into one. They are free, up to 50 looks a month, and every one is permanent: it stays with your profile and works for you 24/7.
Nothing expires, nothing lapses, and you never pay to keep a photo up. The set you posted last spring is still pulling clients next spring. Instagram rents attention. Here, you own a billboard.
Joined before 3.0? Your first five photos stay free, always. That was the promise and it stands.
This opens your photo uploader. You can upload directly from your camera roll.
Your first photo is free, so make it the one that stops a scroll. After that, think variety: different shapes, colors, and styles. A client looking for ombre should see ombre. A client looking for nail art should see nail art. Every photo you add widens the net.
Tagging is part of posting now: every look gets tagged right in the upload flow, and it goes live in the Gallery the moment you tag it. Tags are how clients find you, an untagged photo is invisible to filtered browsing, which is why the app won't let one slip through.
When clients use the browse filters, shape, material, style, only tagged photos show up. This is how the majority of clients browse. Skipping tags means your work never gets seen by the people most likely to book you.
Here's the deal: clients don't search for you specifically, they search for the look they want. "I want almond shape, gel, with flowers." MNC matches that search to photos with those tags. If your gorgeous floral set isn't tagged, it simply won't show up. Think of tags as the keywords that put your work in front of the right eyes.
You can, and should, apply multiple style tags to one photo. That floral set? Tag it: Floral + 3D + Nail Art. The more accurate tags, the more clients find it.
Tap "Upload Photos" from your Tech Portal and choose the image from your camera roll.
Look at the nail in the photo and pick the closest match. If it's somewhere between square and oval, go with squoval. Don't overthink it, just be accurate.
What product is on the nail? Gel, acrylic, dip? You know your work, pick the right one. Clients filter by this when they need a specific service.
This is where you can tag multiple options. A photo can be Chrome + Ombre + Abstract all at once. The more accurate, the better. Clients searching for any of those terms will see your photo.
It's now live on your profile and searchable in the Gallery. Every photo with proper tags is working for you around the clock, getting shown to clients who want exactly what you do.
If you can't answer "what shape, what material, what style?" for a photo, the client can't find it either. Always tag before you save.
If you had photos on your profile before tagging existed, or you skipped tags in a rush, head to Tech Portal → My Gallery. Untagged photos appear full-size at the top with grouped tag chips (Shape / Material / Style); already-tagged photos collapse into a Tagged (N) drawer below. Tap chips and your changes auto-save about a second after the last tap. You can also tap any tagged thumbnail to re-edit. It's the fastest way to catch your whole portfolio up.
MNC books for you, and it costs nothing. A client finds your work, taps once, and lands in your calendar. No commission, no per-booking fee, no trial that runs out. Booking lives with MNC and stays free for every tech, forever. Set your services and your hours and you're taking appointments.
Already book somewhere else? Keep it, and keep your money, using your own link is free, forever. Paste your existing booking page link and MNC labels the button on your profile automatically. Only MNC's own booking engine is a subscription. You can run MNC booking, your own link, or both:
Choose in-app booking and MNC walks you through the only two things it needs: one service (name, length, price) and your weekly hours, both prefilled with a common starter you can change on the spot. Finish the two steps and clients can book you immediately; refine everything later in Settings.
Full set, fill, soak-off, whatever you actually offer. Each one gets a duration and a price, and that duration is what MNC uses to work out which appointment times you can genuinely fit.
Tell MNC the days and hours you work. Clients only ever see slots inside those hours. Add buffer time between appointments if you need a breather, and block off days you're away.
By default a booking arrives as a request and waits for you to confirm. Prefer it hands-off? Flip on auto-confirm and the slot books itself. Either way you and your client both get a reminder the day before and again three hours out.
Clients looking for nails today are ready to book right now. Post Available now and you go on the What's happening board while your work glows in the Gallery, right where those clients are looking. Completely free, on every plan, and it takes ten seconds.
One tap puts you on the What's happening board until the time you pick
First thing in the morning, when a client cancels, whenever a chair opens up. The app checks in each morning to ask if you are working, and you can turn that reminder off in My Settings.
Pick until when (end of today, the next hour, or a time you choose) and add a note if you like, "two openings this afternoon". You go on the board and every photo of yours glows in the Gallery. It ends on its own at the time you picked.
Clients post what they need and when on the same board. See one you can take? Tap I'm interested and she gets your name, your profile and whichever of Call, Text or Book you have turned on. Under the bell, pick how far you travel: 10, 25 or 50 miles, or your whole state. A request pings you when it lands within reach, and the same setting sits in My Settings. Booked up early? Tap the chip again and you come off the board.
Your every-three-weeks regular shouldn't have to rebook every three weeks. One forgotten rebook is a gap in your week and a client who drifts. Turn an appointment into a standing one and the chair stays held, automatically, without either of you thinking about it. This is the feature the paid booking tools charge you monthly for.
A standing appointment books actual slots on your calendar, the same as any other booking, so nobody else can take that time. MNC keeps topping the series up so there's always another one on the books ahead of you.
How it works, in practice:
Pick the rhythm that matches your client, weekly, fortnightly, every three weeks, monthly.
Each one is a real slot on your calendar. The time is held, so nobody else can book over it.
As each appointment passes, the next one gets added to the end. The series never quietly runs out.
Cancel a single appointment without touching the rest. Holiday weeks don't break the rhythm.
Bookings sits at the top of your Tech Portal. Tap any confirmed appointment with a client who comes back like clockwork.
Choose every 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks. MNC books the series out for you from there and keeps it topped up. That's the whole setup.
Your share of the Gallery grows exactly with your photo count. No boosting, no pay-to-rank, no mystery math. Techs with more tagged photos show up more often, it's that simple.
Your free first photo gets you into the Gallery. Everything after it is how you widen the net, whether you're building a bigger portfolio, launching a new specialty, or just want more people to find you. Add photos whenever you're ready, at your pace.
Your profile is free to set up and your first month of taking bookings is free. After that it is $10.99 a month, locked at that price for life as a founding tech. No commission, no per-booking fee, and never a charge to your clients. Your photos stay free either way, up to 50 looks a month, and they never expire. No contracts, cancel anytime.
It's your storefront in the Gallery from day one, and it stays on your profile permanently.
Think of your MNC profile as your growing portfolio, every set you add lives here, documented, searchable, working for you 24/7. Even one new set a week adds up fast, and with 50 free uploads a month there is room for every set you're proud of.
Good news: you can't upload without tagging anymore, it's built right into posting. The habit that matters now is tagging accurately, all three categories when they fit. The tags are what connect your work to the clients searching for exactly what you do.
Ten minutes to set up. Free to join, free to book, forever. Clients in your area are searching right now, be there when they look.
