Everything you need to know about how My Nail Connection works and how to get the most out of your listing.

Booking, the Heart of MNC

Every tech gets a real booking system, and your first month is free. Open Bookings on your Tech Portal, add your services (name, time, price) and your weekly hours, and flip it on. A Book button appears on your profile.

Clients pick a service, a day, and an open time. You confirm or decline every request (or turn on auto-confirm if you prefer), and you both get notified when anything changes. Your whole calendar lives on the Bookings screen.

Already booking through Vagaro, StyleSeat, Square, or anywhere else? Keep it, and that stays free. Drop your link into your profile and clients get a Book Now button that goes straight there. Your profile, your gallery, your spot in the Gallery and your own link cost nothing; only MNC’s own booking engine is a subscription. MNC is your one home base either way.

How the Gallery Works

There is one Gallery, every nail photo on MNC in a single scrolling grid. Clients filter by shape, type, style, and distance, fall in love with a set, and tap through to the tech who made it. Your photos are your advertising here.

No algorithm, no popularity contest. One honest rule:

More photos = more presence. Your share of the Gallery is exactly proportional to your photo count. Ten photos means twice the appearances of five. No caps, no damping, no mystery.

Every tech is included. Even one great photo puts you in the rotation.

It reshuffles every visit. Different photos surface each time a client opens the Gallery, so your whole portfolio gets seen over time, and photos from the same tech are spaced out so the scroll always feels fresh.

Open today = you glow. While your Open today toggle is on, every one of your photos wears a soft glowing ring and an ✨ Open today banner. Same-day clients head straight for the glow.

Free to set up, and your first month is free. After that it’s $10.99 a month, locked at that price for life as a founding tech. No commission, no per-booking fee, and never a charge to your clients. Cancel anytime, your gallery and your calendar stay put either way.

Your photos stay free either way, up to 50 looks a month, and they never expire. Almost nobody reaches that limit, and it refills every month.

Tagging Your Photos

When a client filters by shape, type, or style, only photos tagged with those selections appear. Good tags = the right clients finding you. That is why every look gets tagged as you post it.

Tip: tag all three categories when they fit, not just one. A client searching "Almond + Soft Gel + Chrome" only sees photos tagged with all three, the more accurately you tag, the better your match rate.

Lead with your best work

Quality over quantity. Pick photos that show your strongest, most consistent work, the kind that makes a client say "I want that."

Toggle availability every morning

The "Open today" filter is one of the most used client features. Toggling on takes 2 seconds and puts you at the top of same-day searches.

Keep your booking hours current

A calendar that matches reality means every request is one you can say yes to. Update your weekly hours whenever your schedule shifts.

Post a look every time you finish a set

It takes fifteen seconds and it is the single best thing you can do for how often you turn up in the Gallery. A tech with twenty looks appears four times as often as one with five.
